Southwest Gas announces rate cut in Ariz.

"Southwest Gas Corp. has announced a rate cut for its 958,000 Arizona customers.

The utility said it has reduced rates in Arizona by 11 cents per 100 cubic feet, or $65.2 million annually.

The Las Vegas-based company said the average residential bill will decline in the summer months by $1.43, or 4.95 percent, to $29.04; and in the winter by $4.73, or 6.33 percent, to $70.03."
