"A Foster City, Calif.-based company that installs solar panels on homes and leases them to the owners is looking to hire 50 to 100 employees to begin serving Phoenix-area customers, SolarCity announced Monday.
The company began marketing its creative-financing services to Arizonans in the spring, and Chief Executive Officer Lyndon Rive said the company has hundreds of potential customers who have shown interest in the program.
The company should install its first systems in Arizona Public Service Co. and Salt River Project territory next month, when it begins operating out of an 8,200-square-foot warehouse facility near Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, Rive said."
