"Arizona's monsoon season officially began Sunday, and Glendale residents have a new tool to help them prepare.
That day, the city will launch a new Web site, Glendale Monsoon Ready. It will offer information on such topics as preparing a family disaster plan, how to obtain free sand and sandbag information, driving safety tips and information about Arizona's Stupid Motorist Law, and emergency numbers for the Glendale Police and Fire departments and local power companies."
