"Glendale is one of three finalists to land the new headquarters of USA Basketball after Indianapolis dropped out of the running.
The other cities vying are Louisville, Ky., and Colorado Springs, Colo., which currently hosts USA Basketball.
Jim Tooley, executive director of USA Basketball, said he and others from his organization visited Glendale last month and came away impressed. A decision likely would come this summer."
