"Arizona Public Service Co. revised a rate-hike request with state regulators, asking for a little bit more money, officials said Monday.
The company asked the Arizona Corporation Commission in March to consider an 8.1 percent general rate increase, which would have raised rates by 9.8 percent on most houses and apartments.
Under the revision, it is now seeking an 8.5 percent bump, or a 9.4 percent increase. It would take an average monthly bill of $116.20 for all residences from apartments to houses and bring it to $127.16."
