Proposed complex angers rural residents

"A developer is looking to build an 83,000-square-foot office complex at the southwest corner of 83rd Avenue and Pinnacle Peak Road, drawing opposition from nearby rural residents.

'I enjoy my starry nights,' said Debra Grunwald, who lives on Planada Lane, a county island of 1-acre lots. 'I don't want to see the (development's) lights. They don't need to be there.'

Grunwald was one of four residents who spoke against the proposed West Wing Professional Offices at last week's Planning and Zoning Commission meeting."
